M & M is a small family business, based in County Durham. We have 4 retail pharmacies and now an Internet / Mail order branch. We started trading over 30 years ago at Meadowfield and have gradually increased in size, Whilst maintaining our core aim which is to provide the best possible service, advice and care to all our customers and patients.

Investors in People

We pride ourselves, on our staff, and their achievements and training. We were awarded Investors in People in 2004. We have 8 Pharmacists employed in the company (as well as using 7 regular locum pharmacists), 3 Accredited Checking Technicians, 2 more in training as well as 3 Dispensing technicians and 4 in training.

Innovative Services

Our branches offer innovative services including Medicine Use Reviews, Cholesterol, diabetes and blood pressure testing and monitoring. And are at the forefront of Pharmacy developments. Our staff sit on many NHS committees including The Primary Care Trust, Professional executive committee and Local Pharmaceutical committee.

Our Pharmacies

Our pharmacies vary from a small village pharmacy to high street shop, and health centre pharmacy. We offer a full pharmaceutical service to residential and nursing homes and give advice and help to them on a regular basis, as well as warden controlled housing. We are also able to offer a service to those being cared for at home and have a wide number of patients having medication trays delivered to their home. With the production of this pharmacy website we aim to provide additional healthcare services though this online interface.
