Indications
For the treatment of cold sores (herpes simplex) of the lips and face, early treatment (at the tingle phase)with Zovirax can stop a cold sore appearing. If your cold sore has already appeared then treatment with Zovirax can speed up the healing process.

Directions
Adults and children: apply the cream liberally to the affected area five times daily for 5 days starting during the tingle phase. If healing has not occurred continue for a further 5 days. If full healing has not occurred after 10 days consult your doctor.

Ingredients
Aciclovir 5%.

Warnings
For external use only. Do not apply to the inside of the mouth, the eye or for herpes infections of genital areas.
