Senokot Hi-Fibre Orange drink is an easy and convenient way to increase the fibre and water in your diet helping your digestive system work more efficiently and gently relieving constipation the natural way. As it works naturally with your body it takes care of constipation without undue straining, discomfort or unnatural urgency, helping to restore and maintain regularity.

Dosage/Directions:
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor.
Adults and children over 12: One sachet of Senokot hi-fibre lemon mixed with water, in the morning, and one in the evening.
Children 6-12: half to 1 level 5ml spoonful, mixed with water, morning and evening, depending on age and size of the child.
Children under 6 years: to be taken on medical advice only.
Do not take Senokot without water. Take immediately after mixing with water.

Active Ingredient
Each sachet contains 3.5g Ispaghula Husk B.P.

Side Effects:
You may experience flatulence or bloating during the first few days of taking Senokot Hi Fibre, due to the increased amount of fibre in your diet.

Additional Information:
Senokot Hi-Fibre is also recommended to help maintain a normal bowel function among patients suffering from any of the following conditions: irritable bowel syndrome, colostomy or ileostomy, hemorrhoids, anal fissure, persistent diarrhoea associated with diverticular disease and ulcerative colitis.

Warnings:
Do not take this product if:
you are taking medication which may cause constipation such as codeine or morphine.
your doctor has told you that you are suffering from a blockage of the bowel (intestinal obstruction or faecal impaction) or muscle weakness of the bowel wall (colonic atony) or that you have phenylketonuria. Or you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
